We may also collect healthcare-related administrative information necessary for scheduling, coordination of services, and related operations. We collect this information when you submit a form on our website, call or email us, or enroll in our services, and we use it to respond to you, coordinate care, and send the text messages you opt in to.

Text messaging is opt-in only. If you check the optional SMS consent box on one of our website forms, or otherwise expressly agree to receive texts, you agree to receive text messages from NEHCS regarding your inquiry, appointment reminders, care coordination, scheduling updates, and administrative notifications. Providing a phone number without opting in does not sign you up for text messages, and consent is not a condition of receiving services.

NEHCS complies with HIPAA and applicable Massachusetts privacy laws. Standard SMS text messaging may not be fully encrypted. We limit SMS content to the minimum necessary and avoid including detailed protected health information (PHI) unless explicitly authorized by the member.
